CrossFit Oakland - Emeryville is located at 1313 67th Street at Hollis. You can reach us by taking the Ashby exit off I-80 and heading toward Berkeley. A right on 7th, a quick right on Folger and a left onto Hollis will get you to 67th Street. Take a left and we are the first set up buildings on the right. Feel free to park on the street or in the parking lot.

Strength Sundays No purchase required to enroll

In this class, you'll receive technical instruction on the five basic barbell lifts: back squat, deadlift, shoulder press, bench press, and power clean. Each class will focus on the squat and one of the other lifts. This is a program that is driven by the squat, and the general strength you'll acquire from this classic lift. This class is recommended for anyone new to the lifts, stalled in their strength gains, or just curious about how strength training can fit into the larger sphere of general conditioning.

Our on-ramp class meets 3 times a week for 4 weeks at pre-determined class times, as each class session builds on the last. It is designed for generally active and injury-free clients and is taught in a small-group setting as a way to offer safe and quality instruction in the basic Crossfit movements, which appear most often in our group class programming. In addition to drilling the fundamental exercises, on-ramp participants will be exposed to the fun of working out in a group as well as the intensity level that is so much a part of our workouts (in a progressively increasing manner). In addition, at least one session will be scheduled during the month in order to introduce and discuss basic nutrition concepts that will support client goals.
